The House

Five bedrooms. Five ensuites. Space that surprises every guest who walks through the door.

Photos don't do it justice. That's what guests tell us – it's the thing we hear most.

The double-height entrance hall. The sweeping staircase. The baby grand piano that nobody expects to find. The way rooms flow into each other yet still offer separation, quiet, privacy.

Five bedrooms, all ensuite. A dining table that seats 12. A kitchen built for big groups. An acre of gardens. Space that makes sense when you're planning a gathering and surprises you when you actually arrive.

"The house is so stunning – even better than the pictures."

Room Rundown

The Room Rundown

With large rooms, bay windows and lofty ceiling heights, our spacious ground floor includes:

  • Formal lounge with bay window seats overlooking the fields

  • Morning room with comfy sofas and direct access onto the sun terrace

  • Snug with log burner and cosy seating to watch the 48 inch Smart TV (we work off rural wifi as there's no standard TV signal)

  • Main hall with sweeping double height staircase, glass dome and baby grand piano

  • Kitchen with seating for 10 plus 2 high chairs, four-door range, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, washer-dryer and coffee machine

  • Walk-in pantry because we all know big groups of people need a lot of space for food. We have an extra fridge, freezer and microwave here too.

  • Cloakroom and entrance hall to store all your boots, coats and mucky bits

The first floor consists of five bedrooms each with high ceilings, ample space and ensuite bathrooms:

  • Autumn Bedroom - A double, garden aspect, light-filled double bedroom with large en-suite bathroom with bath and walk-in shower.

  • Green Bedroom - A garden aspect king size room with large en-suite bathroom with shower in bath.

  • Twin Bedroom - A front aspect twin room with immense (seriously!) en-suite bathroom with double sink and shower in bath.

  • Blue Bedroom - A suite of three rooms offering guests a private hall, king size room and large en-suite bathroom with bath and walk-in shower.

  • Apricot Bedroom - A double, garden and field aspect bedroom with very large en-suite bathroom with shower in bath.

Please note that travel cots fit in all rooms and the majority of rooms can also take an additional single bed. Ein Cynefin sleeps 10 but please enquire about additional guests.

Ein Cynefin sits in a secluded acre of gardens set in a working agricultural landscape.

The house is surrounded by lawns on three sides, meaning there is plenty of space and privacy for games, barbecues and lizard-lounging on the sun terrace. The picturesque Moel Famau or Mother Mountain (the highest point of the Clwydian Range) can be enjoyed in the distance from the formal patio with plenty of sheep in view too.

The gardens also make Ein Cynefin especially well-suited to celebrations. Drinks on the terrace. Games on the lawn. Quiet corners for those who need them.

"The attention to detail throughout the house is superb; it feels like a much-loved home. We loved the fact that Angharad and Teleri have left furnishings and paintings for everyone to enjoy… it does not feel like the usual rental property."
